Privacy Policy

In short: Evenlist does not collect any data about you.

  • Your reminders are read and changed only on your iPhone.
  • There is no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
  • The App Store privacy label for Evenlist is “Data Not Collected”.

Who we are

Evenlist is an iPhone app made by an independent developer (“we”). This policy covers the Evenlist app and the website at evenlist.app. Questions: hello@evenlist.app.

Your reminders

With your permission, Evenlist uses Apple’s Reminders access on your iPhone to show your overdue reminders. To do that it reads a reminder’s title, notes, due date, list and repeat setting. When you choose an action, it saves that change back to Apple Reminders: Done and Let it pass mark the reminder complete, and Move sets a new due date.

All of this happens on your device. Evenlist never sends your reminders anywhere. If your reminders sync through iCloud, that sync is provided by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, not by us.

You can turn off access at any time in the Settings app: open Evenlist (on iOS 18 and later, Settings › Apps › Evenlist), then Reminders.

What Evenlist keeps on your iPhone

  • Your settings, such as the evening reminder time, how many reminders to review at a time, and which lists to include.
  • Recent activity: the changes you made in Evenlist (the reminder’s title, what you chose and its previous due date) for up to 7 days, so you can undo them. Older entries are removed automatically.

This data is stored only inside the app on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it. Your reminders stay in Apple Reminders.

Notifications

If you turn on the evening reminder, Evenlist schedules a local notification on your iPhone. To decide whether to send it, Evenlist checks on your iPhone whether any reminders will be overdue by then. No push service or server is involved. You can turn it off in Evenlist’s Settings or in iOS Settings.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. Evenlist checks on your device whether you have a trial or a purchase. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payments.

Diagnostics

Evenlist contains no analytics or crash-reporting code. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you.

This website

evenlist.app uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. It stores your language choice in your browser (local storage) and nothing else. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and operation.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply, keep it only as long as needed for that, and never share or sell it.

Children

Evenlist is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

The app does not collect or hold personal data about you, so there is nothing in it for us to access, correct, export or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence. You stay in control: you can revoke Reminders access, turn off notifications, or delete the app at any time. If you have a question or request under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, email us and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If Evenlist ever needed to collect data, we would ask you first and update the App Store privacy label.
